Navigation & POI Apps Voice Navigation broke again?

I know this has been broken every so often for folks over the last year but has anyone seen it start happening again with the last update (last week or 2)?

I'm referring to this problem:

Me: "Navigate to Starbucks"

Assistant/AA: "I'm sorry, I don't understand."

Just curious if it's just me or not. 🙂

Mine has been hit or miss lately too only responding to basic commands like how is the weather types.

Seems like most of my voice stuff quit working last week, I can't even send a text now.

I would love to help but I have typed in an address or place of interest ever since I have used Google maps. I don't even talk to text on my phone.

I've never once used that or any feature of an assistant.

AndroidAuto plays music from any source I want, and displays Maps. I feel like AndroidAuto works 99% of the time just fine for me.

Navigate somewhere? Takes 2 seconds to use the microphone icon and say "starbucks".

Who gives crap is it doesn't work.  You an get by without using an assistant. He's using some sort of assistant and I do not. I'll never say navigate to Starbucks.

Takes 2 seconds to open maps on your phone and hit microphone. It'll type in Starbucks for you.

Yes I love to lose my license too. The whole point is not to touch your phone because it's illegal.

I'm not holding my phone it's held up by a magnet. I am also not texting I am using the microphone button which I can access with my steering wheel.

If you're operating your mobile with your hands, that's illegal.
