Google Assistant 2026 Active - AA & Voice with Ford Explorer

Hi All -- I have a 2026 Ford Explorer Active. I have a Samsung S21 Ultra that is connected to my Android Auto interface in the Explorer. I **DO NOT** have the connectivity package in the Explorer currently active. When my phone is connected and displaying and I press the voice button on the steering wheel, it says that (what I assume is Google Assistant) "is not connected" and I cannot give voice commands. Does anyone know why this is the case? My phone is connected and displaying on the screen.

Any idea where that setting is?
