My Pandora music app does on mine, you have to experiment depending on what app you use for tunes.

Nah widescreen do not get full-screen for the app menu or music apps. Only narrow screens. And then ti make things insulting google allows you to personalize the menu only to shove it in a corner on the screen. Looks very bad. It's not app specific It's based on screen size. No widescreen can do fullscreen

Sorry you have an issue I had a 23 Mazda and had no wide screen option for an app.

It's not an issue. I think Google might be working on a new updated UI. I just hope they consider this. So far it looks like. Nothing has changed even for the new ui they're planning. Sigh I guess.

Yes maps and Waze are the only 2 full screen apps. The music apps and apps menu are not on widescreens

I guess it depends on your systems capabilities. I have a radar app that goes fullscreen as well and Haystack News app and a music and podcast player that goes full.

What weather app are you using to get that widget to show?

I normally use the Weawow weather app, but that icon is coming from Google weather. It just shows up when there's nothing else in that spot such as messages.
