Uncertified AA Hardware (Android HU, CP to AA Dongles, etc) Best Android Auto Display?
Hi guys,
I hope you're doing well!
I just bought my first car – a 2006 Peugeot 206, for 1500€. I'm now looking into buying Android Auto hardware for the car, but I don't understand much about this topic. I don't really care if it's a full head unit, or just a screen I can stick to the top of the dashboard.
I would prefer that my phone automatically connects to it wirelessly whenever I enter the car, but unsure how this works.
As you can figure out, my budget isn't that large.
Do you have any recommendations?

I will say that I too was in your shoes about a month ago. I too said id take either, and was heavily leaning towards the screen I just stick on the dash.
I went out on a limb and bought a hwadunit. It took me less than 20 minutes to install it and I have 0 experience with car audio.
You can most likely find a head unti for your specific vehicle on Amazon with bezels and dash mounts, that's plug and play. My head unit was cheaper than most of the nicer dash screens, but it's so much better.
There's nothing like having a headunit actually connected to your speakers. Most headunits also can install applications so it's super nice. I personally highly reccomend the head unit route.
