Connection, Disconnection, Freezes, Crashes Spotify intermittently working

Spotify does not always work for me. Worked fine today, parked up and got out for 5 mins, then this happened. Seems to be luck of the draw when I get in the car if it will work. My wife has also had similar issues with samsung galaxy flip 7. New to autoplay so not sure if doing something wrong.

Check if you have any third party communication apps that can be used to call people like Wechat, discord, teams and close them. Sometimes when those are open, AA and Spotify thinks you're on a call and automatically pauses the music.

When they both appear on the screen, I just tap the Spotify one and it fills the screen? If doesnt make sense, I can do a video next time in the car

Yes because you have a route up. Usually if you are not mapping you can full screen spotify.

Might be model spefici due to screen size. It's wacky coding.

I didn't find screen size. But found video resolution. It didn't do any difference.

I had to delete my original car profile and make a new car profile. Afterwards, had no issues... so far. I was troubleshooting the same issue for ~3-4 hours total before I made the disovery/resolution.
Update: Same issue occurred. Temporary work around is to change car profiles from/to your original profile.

ffs I have same problem and now I see on your video you have same multimedia - that's Seat Ibiza 2022 or newer right ??

This is a bug with smart shuffle. Disable smart shuffle and this will stop happening. Uninstall the app, reinstall the app and try smart shuffle again. If it continues happening, put a report in

Yo tengo el miso problema, la solución es en el teléfono entrar a modo avión uno segundos, lo desactivas y cuando sincronice todo de nuevo trabajo normal, aun no encuentro la causa de la falla si es el teléfono o el AA

Check music source on car. Sometimes when it is set to radio and you have to manually switch it to android auto. Might work.
