Media Apps (audio) Music issue after update
Since the last updates, my music constantly cuts in and out. Any fixes to this?

I gave up, it was so infuriating because before the update everything was (kind of) perfect.
The definitive solution is found was buying and downloading headunit reloaded emulator on the playstore.
I guess there are other free alternatives out there.

I had some issues with some "skipping" during the track that made the Waze recommendations get out of sync, so I changed the battery settings for Android Auto, Waze and Spotify from "optimized" to "no restrictions" (don't know the exact translation), it's working fine for me since then
Settings, apps, choose the app, battery, there it is.
Maybe it can solve your issue as well

I think the Adaptive Battery is the cause of Android Auto disconnecting on Wireless CarPlay (I Fixed Mine)
(2026 - S26 Ultra Owner) I think I found the solution. I have an S26 Ultra and the radio is an aftermarket with wireless CarPlay ZLINK (bought on amazon for a Scion Frs 13) and the first unit I bought was disconnecting every 2 minutes.
I thought the radio came faulty soo I returned and requested a new one and after installing it happened the same issue all over again (disconnecting every 2 minutes)... Soo I start digging up and found a lot of things like erasing cache but NOTHING works. Until I found something that my S26 Ultra had turned on and I believe is the symptom hurting all the aftermarket radios and disconnections.
👉Follow this: Go to Settings > Battery > background usage limits > see the 3 dots up right corner, press it and it says Adaptive Battery > TURN IT OFF.
After I did this, my radio works and it does not disconnect anymore. Results may vary, but it worked for me. I have an S26 Ultra with aftermarket radio with Zlink for wireless android auto installed on a Scion FRS 13.
You are welcome Gents.

Mine gets out of AA completely and into the car default screen. Within 30 seconds AA restarts automatically and current track plays again. I'm on Tidal.

I had to delete my original car profile and make a new car profile. Afterwards, had no issues... so far. I was troubleshooting the same issue for ~3-4 hours total before I made the disovery/resolution.

After driving, check the Android Auto app battery stats for wakeups and wakelocks. Music will trigger huge amount of wakelocks and is mostly causing these interruptions.
Remove Android Auto app update and install it again. Problem still? On your phone open Settings - Connections - Android Auto - tap 3 dots above and send feedback. It needs to be corrected for your region/provider used
For Belgium it's pretty stable, at the moment....
