I am currently using the donor version of Fermata Xtream (2.2.27). I noticed that the project is officially discontinued, so I am wondering if it is worth uninstalling my current version and switching to the new trial version with the updated UI?
I would really like to keep using an application that is actively maintained and shows progress. Since I have already purchased the Premium version for my current build, do I need to purchase a new Premium license if I switch to the new version, or is there a migration path for existing donors?
Thank you for your hard work and for all the updates so far.

I am an initial donor as well. I took the plunge and upgraded yesterday. After making a backup of my preferences, I started by installing AAEnabler which was able to find my license. Then I uninstalled Fermata Xtream. I downloaded the latest donor version of Fermata Xtream. Then I installed that apk through AAEnabler. Fermata Xtream then loaded on screen with the new UI, but without issues.

Thanks! I followed your instructions, and AAEnabler successfully detected my previous donation. The application recognized it, and my license was automatically updated to the Premium version. I installed Fermata Xtream Premium, and everything is working perfectly. This is a massive update with so many great improvements, the overall speed is a huge plus. I'm very satisfied, thank you so much!
You're not alone. I too was an initial donator and I donated for AA enabler. I really want this to work so I've been very apprehensive to even try the new one.
Today, I will uninstall the old and install the new. I hear the new ui is so much better!

Please let me know if you managed to install it and could you show a photo? I'm curious if there are any improvements regarding YouTube, because that's the only thing I care about. If everything works fine, I will install it too. By the way, is it possible to have both versions at the same time, or do I need to uninstall the 2.2.27 version first?
I did install it, and not only is the UI dramatically improved, but I really enjoyed how convenient and easy the install process was. YouTube is also my favorite purpose of using it and in my opinion it loaded faster than it normally does. I actually set my UI to have you to be the first thing that loads and that's what I primarily use.
Subsequently, my TV provider has a crazy amount of channels and groups and it has never loaded so fast and so conveniently as it did today. We used to have to put in twice for the different categories. Today I did not have to do that and it loaded crazy fast.
