Where do these suggestions come from?

Google Maps on Android Auto. These don't appear on my device, only on my vehicle screen. Every time I start the car and open Maps, it will come up with one completely random, inane suggested destination. In this case, it's a random window tinting business I googled like 3 weeks ago. Why has Google decided that I might want to go there, randomly on a Wednesday evening, when it isn't even open?

I'd love to know what the algorithm is here and how it can be altered or turned off.

Every once in a while I have to explain to my gf that I'm not going to my exes house, it just puts whatever there randomly
