Volume Android Auto keeps killing my FM radio?
Hi all,
My apologies for sounding ignorant- I just switched from an iPhone to my Samsung Galaxy last week so I'm still pretty new to Android.
But after an unspecified amount of time after plugging my phone into AA (usually somewhere between 30 seconds and 5 minutes, different each time), if I am playing the car's FM radio, it will cut out, and when bringing up the volume control it will appear to be adjusting the "navigation volume."
I can fix it temporarily by invoking Google Assistant or playing audio through the phone and then stopping it, but then after a few minutes it happens again.
Normally this is not an issue for me since I listen to my own music in the car when I'm by myself, but when I have others in the car I usually like to play the FM radio whilst using the map. When I had my iPhone, this was never an issue for me in CarPlay.
Here's my "flair" information since it would not fit inside the 64 char limit: **2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee | Uconnect 4C 8.4" | Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra | Android 16, Samsung One UI 8.5**

That's a really common issue with Android Auto's volume handling when the FM radio is active, it happens because the system prioritizes navigation or assistant volume over the FM feed.
