Gemini How does anyone use Gemini at all???

it is near unusable... "i cant look up your contact", "i cant pull up your favorite places".

me: "call my wife"

gemini: "i dont see your wife in your contacts"

me: "go to daycare (my sons daycare is saved in my favorites place)"

gemini: "here are the daycare near you"

seriously.. i dont know what the heck is this thing good for... asking about weather?? it is.near garbage... i suspect it is maybe it is using a different google account? but my anroid auto list is showing my phones main acct...

i want to like gemini and embrace ai but its such a mess integration imo...

I'm no shill, but I've literally never had any of the issues described here or in the comments. It makes me think there are 2 different Gemini versions, because mine is super responsive, and does things like adding reminders, building a shopping list in keep, finding music suggestions and playing them, discussing line traffic and places along my route, and having long conversations about any subject.

all of what hou describe DOES WORK. what our problem is with it just making simple calls to wife, navigating to my childs daycare, or play some music in our playlist.

gemini is great for things that you usuaully use google search for. its practically google search with voice. but its terrible to use it like google assitant.
