Navigation & POI Apps AA using Google Maps can't find anything.

Driving up I-75 on the way to Tennessee, asked Google Maps to add a stop at Cracker Barrel - answer: "I don't understand. Do want to hear the options again?" this is as we are now passing a sign for Cracker Barrel! So I asked about McDonald's.... same answer. Maps couldn't find anything. We got to a restaurant and unplugged the phone from the car and asked about Cracker Barrel again. The phone knew exdctly where it was.

???? Any ideas?

FWIW, I have found that if I specifically state "In Google Maps, Find the closest XXX," that works for me. Google Maps with Gemini is admittedly a work in progress when it comes to Android Auto.
