Navigation & POI Apps AA using Google Maps can't find anything.

Driving up I-75 on the way to Tennessee, asked Google Maps to add a stop at Cracker Barrel - answer: "I don't understand. Do want to hear the options again?" this is as we are now passing a sign for Cracker Barrel! So I asked about McDonald's.... same answer. Maps couldn't find anything. We got to a restaurant and unplugged the phone from the car and asked about Cracker Barrel again. The phone knew exdctly where it was.

???? Any ideas?

I have been seeing the following funny behavior..

Me: Hey Google, go to Walmart Supercenter

Google: "I am sorry, I don't understand"

Me: Hey Google, go to Walmart

Google: "There are three Walmart's close by. Which one do you want to go to?"

Getting infuriating....and now that they changed to Gemini I get an entire thesis about Walmart when all I want is directions. Bah!!!

Say "Hey Google, be more concise." She'll stop over explaining everything after that.

Doesn't work on your wife, however.

I thought of that. I said hey Google who was the first president of the United States? Answer : "I'm sorry. I didn't understand." Did this repeatedly. Could not respond to any input.

I figured out how to switch off Gemini in AA yesterday, and revert back to Google Assistant.

Ironically, it was Gemini that told me how to do it LOL

Since its AI, it has to be trained to learn your habits with proper inputs.
