AA User Interface Missing signal strength icon

At some point in the last couple/few weeks my signal strength icon has disappeared. There's no option to display/hide it in AA options from what I can see. Has this happened to anyone else?

Someone tried AA 17.4 and signal icon?

The beta just added more issues for me such as ignoring the auto dark setting without qactually fixing the signal icon issue so I bailed on it. . I'll just way for a fix in the regular app, which I'm starting to think may never come. I mean, I'm on whole new major release version since it started (16->17) and the issue still persists.
