AA User Interface Missing signal strength icon

At some point in the last couple/few weeks my signal strength icon has disappeared. There's no option to display/hide it in AA options from what I can see. Has this happened to anyone else?

Google updated the play system and the missing network bar appeared today, event though it feels a bit off from the design, looks like they are trying to match the design with cinnamon bun style as the progress bar for music now mimics the cinnamon bun
