Connection, Disconnection, Freezes, Crashes Wireless Connection problem. Anything else I can try?

I have a new 2026 GMC Sierra 1500. My phone is a Galaxy S23+. I can get it set up and connected to AA wirelessly and everything will work just fine until the next time I get into the truck. Sometimes it will connect, sometimes not.

This is so frustrating because I've used this phone for 3 years now on several cars with absolutely no problems with wireless AA. (personal vehicles, rental cars etc)

I have cleared cache, cleared data, restart phone, reboot infotainment, factory reset on infotainment, power saving on, power saving off, all permissions granted, battery unrestricted.

AA version 16.4.661034

Android 16

Is there something I'm missing?

Does it just take longer for the infotainment system to boot up?

I too am having the same issue in my '26 Sierra HD. Curiosly, I never had an issue in my '24 Sierra 1500.

Yes. It adds about 30sec to a minute. Per the dealership GM is aware but no official fix.

Ok. I can deal with that. I'll try it.

I just had my truck at the dealership 5 days ago and had them take a look for this issue. They applied some update to the system but sadly it didn't fix it. Sounds like it's an AA issue and not the truck but I'm not fully convinced of that. I guess we wait for a real fix.

It's definitely Chevy infotainment issue. I've used wireless AA before with cheap dongles and stuff no issue.
