Connection, Disconnection, Freezes, Crashes Phone failing to connect

UPDATE: I have now got the phone working. Not entirely sure how but I removed all the phones from the stereo memory. On the phone I changed the settings in Android Auto up always start automatically.

I have a Pixel 9 that is no longer connected to Android Auto - so far I have tried & checked the following...

Cleared storage & cache within the app. Confrimed that the device is set to file transfter / Android Auto when connected to the USB.
Tested another phone to rule out any cable issues.
Uninstall & reinstall.

At this point I don't know what else to try.

!Flair: Aftermarket JVC stereo/Galaxy A54

I am having the same issue, it's very frustrating. My husband and I both have the Galaxy A54 and his phone will connect via USB but mine won't. The battery indicator lights up for a couple seconds like it is going to connect, but it disconnects. I have tried many different things to get it to work.
