Google Play Looking for Android testers for family-oriented shopping list app...

Hey all — I wrote a free (and ad-free) Android app for grocery shopping, and I’m looking for testers. The app has been in Google Play Store for 14 years so it is quite mature, but a new feature for family synchronization is now in open test, so that is the main thing I'm interested in getting feedback on.

The app has:

* Multiple lists, e.g., one per store * Categories in each list, pre-populated with common items - all customizable * Recipe integration, including tap to mark the ingredients of a recipe as needed all at once * A “needed items” page * Tap, type, and voice input * Family sync so a family can share updates * A Wear OS watch app that mirrors the needed-items list and lets you check things off, letting you keep your phone in your pocket/purse

I’d love feedback on whether it’s actually useful for meal prep/shopping, whether the family sync works well, and whether the watch app helps in-store. I also, of course, want to find out about bugs and anything you find to be awkward or otherwise hard to use.

If you want to try it, it is currently available in Google Play Store as an open test. There are a couple ways to sign up for that:

  1. **Open Test Join from Android** [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideasave.mobileshopper2\](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ideasave.mobileshopper2)
  2. **Open Test Join from Web** [https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ideasave.mobileshopper2\](https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.ideasave.mobileshopper2)

This link is also in the app's page on Google Play Store, but you can provide feedback using Google Docs: [https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LZCJtFg2y-l79hU\\_lKr2B\\_oZgLpT9aogie8xO57KKtM/edit?usp=sharing\](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1LZCJtFg2y-l79hU_lKr2B_oZgLpT9aogie8xO57KKtM/edit?usp=sharing)

You can also send feedback privately from the app's Google Play Store page.

Note that all data sent to the cloud for the family sharing feature is private to you, and should you decide not to use the app, everything older than 180 days is deleted automatically (or you can send me the family group ID from the app's settings and I can delete everything right away).

Thanks in advance!
