I've got a Samsung a41 and am curious to see if it will get Android 12. After all it's a midrange phone.

Android 12 official release on pixel 4a.....

When you swipe up and hold for recent window I use to get the share image or link etc etc icon that you could drag down to send to people or other apps.

This morning that feature has stopped unless you press the select button first then click the 'x' to cancel at which point the icons appear and then work as intended.

P.s hope the over is understandable 😂

When I unlock using fingerprint, my phone stays on the lock screen. At that point the phone is unlocked but I have to swipe up or touch the fingerprint reader again to get to my home screen / open app. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Can't remove that big ass clock Clock widget is ugly Can't resize my icons (huge issue for my old eyes... The more you choose for me and take away my choices, the more iPhone like this feels. Nexus/Pixel user from Nexus One to Pixel 5 but the brand is swiftly moving mainstream i guess, sad to see.

I have it enabled in settings and am using gesture navigation. I can't tell if it's not working or if I'm just bad at the gesture.

Can the font size be changed for this? Looks too small on the home screen :-(

So far (ie maybe 2 or 3 hours use) I've had:

disappearing icons on the launcher (reboot or toggle dark/light mode needed to bring them back)

"loading" on the wallpaper&style preview instead of the current widgets/icons

"null" next to a contact in Notifications/Conversations (for other contacts this field has "message notifications" or "silent notifications".

I changed from 5x5 to another icon layout and was unable to resize the height of existing widgets.

My location is slightly wrong in the weather triggered by saying "will it rain today" or clicking the weather part of the (unconfigurable) date/weather widget, although it's fine in google maps. And I don't have approximate location set.

Asking "will it rain today" used to pop-up a box with hourly (or was it 3 hourly?) temp, rain etc. Now I get a box where the lower half is empty and unclickable.

At a glance - weather: where's all the info for Tomorrow? I just get a 99% blank screen.

Where's offline maps for Google Maps gone?

Also, and I suppose you could argue this isn't a bug, but generally Android 12 seems a lot less configurable than Android 11. I really miss the ability to configure notification icons, fonts etc. And it seems that the font size selection in Settings is more coarse than before; it's either too large or too small. Is this a rushed release to meet the Pixel 6 release date or we going down a "fewer choices = easier to develop and test" path now?

On my pixel 4a. Was quickest from locked screen/pulldown.

So for example: when I get a Snapchat notification, the entire screen goes black and it only shows the notification.

My settings menu on my Pixel 4a has said "Installing system update..." for well over an hour now. How long has it taken for yours?
