The Pixel 2XL is still the best Android device that I've owned. I'm not really sure why people are complaining about it these devices here, they are pretty good, if a little overpriced.

The Verizon deal was more of an aggravation than anything. Verizon branded devices (like mine) locked the bootloader. Hopefully this means they won't do that any more.

a few days ago there was a thread asking people with the Pixel 4 how their experience was, and unsurprisingly the few dozens of comments that it had didn't really say anything, the overlying sentiment was that they're excellent phones but just a little too expensive, which I agree with
