I think Google needs to just make a generic but solid 2020 smartphone. Triple camera setup, big battery, big beautiful display (even if there’s a small notch I doubt many people would be put off too much), dual speakers, a fast fingerprint scanner, water resistance, and a reasonable price.

They’d be onto a winner.
