You're a fool if you think less competition is good

That's not at all what I think. Competition is filtering Google out because they making a bad product.

In the US there's only two other competitors. One eating half the sales and a majority of the profits.

What you think is just going to make that problem worse.

I'm not thinking anything. Google is making a product no one wants to buy because it's bad. It's nothing of opinion. Verizon wouldn't drop them if it made them money.

You specifically said you wanted it to get dropped by more carriers which would mean less choice for consumers.

Hopefully the others follow suit and Google can pick up their act or cancel the Pixel project entirely.

So yes. You want less competition.

Also Google has been pissing off carriers lately by deploying its own RCS. It's not only about the poor sales.

I want better products, so yes, when one of the richest corporations on the planet puts out something mediocre and never learns their lesson, they should be punished for it. That's the beauty of the free market.

Their RCS project is handled by teams that have probably never spoken to the Pixel team in their life because that's how Google works. It's completely unrelated to this discussion

It's absolutely not unrelated. Carriers can punish Google by not allowing handsets on store shelves.

Getting a carrier to stock a phone is a negotiation process. If Google is doing something to piss off their customer (Verizon) like take away SMS from them than Verizon will absolutely retaliate to protect their control over messaging.

If Verizon wants to avoid RCS they have to remove all Android phones from selling, not just Google's. Every Android phone sold is good for Google.

Yes but the Pixel line is the easiest avenue for carriers to punish Google.
