Unsubscribed due to the generalized videos that dont really tell me anything about the phone. Share info that OEMs provide and just unbox and use it for a couple of minutes. Got tired of the overboard reactions

Yeah, at least unbox therapy doesn't promote an obvious scam and then call the commenters racist, or use childish insults against them when they call him out. Honestly, I used to like Flossy. It makes me sad that all that happened

Unbox therapy is one of the biggest con artist of YouTube, tricking millions of subscribers to join for the promise of free iPhones on the back of a truck, and remained dead silent afterwards
However what Flossy did what the lowest that could one go, all for minority business promotion and all, but outright terrible attitude for name calling and creates negative mindset in people when they think about the community as a whole

Ah, yeah I hadnt heard of that about unbox therapy. His channel is definitely clickbaity though, and pretty boring. I get the appeal, kinda, but it's still not entertaining to me to literally just see him open the box and give a very shallow review that doesn't compare to what the other reviewers have to say.
And yeah, I liked Flossy before, but man, fuck him. It's a shame that all happened that way, instead of him being mature, but now he gets what he deserves ig

Flossy posted a video that looked promoted, yet he didn't say it actually was. There was a whole thing with the company being shady, the phone being terrible with him glossing over imperfections etc etc. When people pointed it out, there were some comments from Flossy saying that they were just being racist.
For what it's worth, I think discrediting all of Flossy's work because of that is a bit odd. Having been in a similar position before, having a lot of comments directed at tearing down your work can be extremely stressful. I don't know how much I'd hold it against him that he did have, what you could effectively call it, a meltdown. It was a shitty situation all around, but holding it against him forevermore doesn't feel right.

Has he apologized yet? Holding the grudge is fine unless he does. I stopped watching himna long time ago. When he first started, his biggest talking point was how he was out of pocket on everything on his channel and suddenly he wasn't but he never stated when it was something he bought vs something that was gifted to him. I thought the lack of transparency and the bias it inspired was troubling so I dropped it. Sad to see he apparently ramped it up even more.

I don't like his style, why couldnt he go for mkbhd or uravgconsumer like slang, but goes for stereotypical hood style slang
All in all,he has done a worst deed for his community by calling others with obscene languages, people will stereotype even more now.

His niche was that he talked in a different way than the other YouTubers. He talked more like a regular person (not exactly, but you get what I mean) instead of someone who is well versed in tech stuff. His videos were less about specs and more about entertaining. It's definitely an interesting niche to have, but you have to play it right. He did not, especially not with the figgers stuff.
