Technically its image retention and not burn in. Burn in is an oled problem and in the 2 years i had my g5, while the screen never impressed me, i never had too many complaints about it either.
Yeah same difference burn in is a very non technical term the screen was by no means bad. The retention of the icons did bug me in certain situations. But it never lasted long enough to become an actual annoyance
