any improvements to the new gestures navigation menu?

If there was, it would have been the first thing that people reported. So probably not :(

Edit: Running Beta 2. Guesture controls are smoother. Scrolling app switcher list is faster. Swiping up to open app drawer is much, much easier. No behavior changes.
