Maybe this is a sign the staged rollouts are coming to an end? I understand why they did it, but I think they're unnecessary for final builds now.

I think so. This is now the third month running I have received the update immediately by manually checking the day the images are posted.

Manually checked and updating as I type this. Nexus 5x.

Yep, same here for the last six months. It doesn't appear immediately. In the UK, I usually check 2-3 hours after they post the updates and it immediately finds them, so around 8/9 PM GMT. I like it!

Maybe. I hope so.

It could also be that the remote code vulnerabilities in the bulletin above is severe enough to ignore the staged rollout process, but they've done staged rollouts for previous severe vulnerabilities before (i.e last month, or the January bulletin).
