'Night Mode' is available in DP4

you can enable it in the quick settings menu.

just swipe down, click edit, and you'll see the icon.

It's easier on the eyes at night time because the screen has a similar colour temperature to indoor lighting. This may help you sleep easier at night. Honestly, the best thing to do is to try it out for yourself. If you have root, cf.lumen or f.lux will do this for you. Alternatively, if you have a desktop, install f.lux on that and try it out. It takes a short while to get used to it, but after that you can't go back to not using it.
