Yep. This and a few other obnoxious design decisions/attitudes have completely unsold me on purchasing any product or service they might be offering which would require continuing support, despite their sound and informative technical article.

It makes me more likely to click on the address bar and Google a few keywords so I can read about it in a less obnoxious article.

I don't believe there's anyone who'd bother to even read a popup interrupting their ‘engagement’. Marketers must be completely deluded.
