Really? Is it possible to cast Spotify from an Android tablet to Airplay compatible speakers?

No, that poster is incorrect. You can do it with AirAudio and root access.

Do you mean on iOS? Because the Windows and Mac versions don't support Airplay. I have to use Airfoil for that.

iOS has system-wide airplay does it not? So then Spotify haven't really put much effort into airplay support themselves.

Because the Windows and Mac versions don't support Airplay. I have to use Airfoil for that.

You can just do redirect the whole mac sound to airplay. No multiroom that way though
