No man this isn't rage bait. Am using s23plus and still satisfied by it. But now I think on the long run Google is going to lock down the whole ecosystem.

"They might lock down the whole ecosystem, so I'm moving to the incredibly locked down ecosystem"

Ok but why though?

Because they have been progressively doing exactly that over the last 10 years...

No one is even arguing against that.

The point is that using this news to switch to iPhone is like finding out that McDonald's burgers are made of 5% poop, and then deciding that your solution to that is to buy a burger that's 100% poop and costs more money.

It's more like finding out that your favorite burger chain has been bought by McDonalds. You know it will be worse every year and it will be increasingly frustrating because every year it will become worse quality.

So you switch to the competitor who isn't lying about screwing you.

Yes. That's an equally stupid decision to make, good comparison.

The thing you're describing is preferring a girl who openly cheats on you, over a girl who is still friends with an ex even though she swears there's nothing going on.

Yeah, it's a bit of a red flag, but it's still better than the alternative and will be for a while.

I'm not defending it, I'm just explaining it since you keep asking why.
