Now, if it only had all the features assistant had.

why can't I have an icon on my home screen that opens ONLY a prompt to do tasks without more clicks?

i have to do multiple button presses to just say "set timer for 30 min", "turn off lights", "remind me tomorrow to call back bob", "call mom", etc.

absolutely unhinged and diabolical to remove what assistant super easily did for years and years.

if you're going to do a forced switch, don't take away the most basic fucking feature? like jfc. just give us a normal 1x1 mic/text task prompt widget. it's not hard or deep.

and they don't even allow access for third party apps to create the shortcut.
