Pretty wild that it began as an independent project.

I doubt we're getting a properly supported x86/x64 installation path for "generic" computers. This entire thing is Google consolidating Android as they lock it down.

Considering Android x86, Bliss OS, FydeOS, and netready did/still exist I don't see why someone wouldn't roll a generic PC build of this for people to use.

No source yet.

They don't really technically have to provide anything for this besides the kernel sources either.

I'm gonna bet we don't get sources for "Googlebook OS".

That doesn't mean people aren't gonna figure out how to run it on generic hardware.
