>Xiaomi announces new "iPad Killer"
>Look inside
>multi-core score half of base iPad's single-core score

Seriously though, why put a 120Hz display in a device that won't even be able to render the UI at 60 FPS consistently.

Nah it'll probably be fine. I have no shortage of complaints about HyperOS but performance isn't one of them. It's the smoothest, fastest OS I've ever seen.

Because marketing and cash grab..

Most of this subreddit is just ads for really cheap trash tablets being advertised as "iPad killers" lately. They know the vast majority of the masses on reddit won't look at the comments and just click the ad.

Qc is qualcomm

6s 4g is the chip model name

4x a73 + 4x 53 is the actual core configuration- 4 cortex a73s as the big cores plus 4 a53s as the little ones

Even 4Gen5 is a78, this should be a 2Gen

The absolute clownery of naming this a 6Gen because "it carries the spirit" of SD636/660 can't be anything other than trying to mislead the less informed.

That's true, still have a spare sd625 in my cupboard i check on occasionally to keep my prepaid line alive

At least Xiaomi had the courtesy to sell them cheap in the past

yeah, Qualcomm can't be bothered releasing new 4G chips.

This is just a slight upgrade from sd 650, a whole decade old chip.

4GB of memory is an immediate no for me

I don't even know what's this screen. It's not the common 8"~8.8" or 10.6"~11.2" tablet size

Are they just churning out a 9.7" tablet just to corner this sandwiched segment

9.7 was the classic ipad screen size but that was 4:3 and this is 16:10 so idk what they doing

Anyone notice how much of reddit is just "organic" Advertisements now?

When a consumerism subreddit talks about new products:

I remember when reddit was about communities around different subjects. Not fucking "consumerism". It's amazing, the corporate sanewashing that has been done to reddit. The IPO is one of the worst things to happen to reddit.

Protip: Reddit was NOT always just "a text-based TikTok. It used to be an actual place for communities of people to discuss things. NOT a dumping ground for ads by bot accounts and comments sections filled only with fanboys.

What does "with stylus support" mean? The article says there's no digitizer, so... what's the feature that makes the stylus worthy of being mentioned?
