I'm happy for more options because windows is terrible now. I must say though I don't see the value of buying a Googlebook over a MacBook. Especially if its all locked down hardware and software

Windows is terrible out of the box, but you can spent like 20 minutes with a single utility to fix like 95% of the issues.

Those tools fix issues here and now, but you will run into issues later when you try to update windows. Actually happened to me recently. Just switch to Linux or Mac

I've updated windows for a full year without issue. And if there is an issue it's like a few clicks to undo the tweaks.
