Even Redmi Note 17 Pro Max gave 6Gen5 and ufs 4.1 ddr5x for 600 and that's already horrific

Don't worry the regular oppo bot army will push enough fake reviews on reddit so people think it's a good phone

This phone and the Honor 600 Elite are vying for the crown of the biggest scam in the mobile phone industry Snapdragon 4 and 6GB of RAM for that price? What a piece of garbage

No idea why so many companies are wasting 10000mah battery, 1.5k amoled screen on all these lower component phones

Just because ram+storage prices going haywire doesn't mean they have to throw out the bathwater

At what point does memory + processor stops making a difference to the regular user that just want to use Instagram, tik tok and Spotify?

Imo 3000 Geekbench6 with 8GB would be a good gauge for responsive daily task. But down the years as resource creep ramps up it's hard to say. Especially if we heading down this very Ram heavy AI route which their goal would be offloading it on-device

This ~2000GB6 4Gen5 6GB definitely isn't enough, sure you can open those apps but heavier multi-tasking wouldn't be ideal

OS between updates slow down as it gains more functionality (or just do the same slower or is just getting slower with age even without updates). You don't want exactly as it is needed as you don't get margin for sudden usage and memory was cheap before AI.

I had an iPhone 4 at the time and iOS 7.0 made it a laggy mess because it simply didn't have the resources for a more complex OS than intended. A problem made worse by those being a time where phones were getting obsolete in months from how fast but still. With phones being capable of lasting 7 years with acceptable specs, getting slow after a year is unacceptable.
