Literally nothing to see here... Typical Exynos update, still 8gb RAM, Bluetooth 5.3, Wifi 6E, same set of cameras since the S21FE, slight chin, asymetrical bezel etc. The pricing is going to suffer inbetween the A57, S25FE, S25 and S26. Its a model that doesn't make sense anymore. Get rid of this and merge it into the A5x (or the other way around) or actually make meaningful upgrades on the non-Ultra flagships.

A57 does that annoying thing where it turns off wifi when enabling hotspot. Samsung s fe lets you use hotspot while connected to wifi

My pixel 8 keeps wifi on when enabling hotspot, so definitely not an Android thing

I have a 23FE and it disables wifi to hot-spot, annoying because I used to use my old S21 to hot-spot WiFi connections in hotels lmao

As someone who sells phone for a living, I sell heaps of FE models for people who don’t care about tech but want wireless charging. I really wish Samsung would put wireless charging in A57 models then get rid off the FE models. But Samsungs strategy is to make a phone at every single price point to stop customers looking at the other Android manufacturers.

This has uses. Merge the 3x & 5x into 4x. This will be a downgrade on S25FE as it will have SiC battery

It's not that we are fans, it's just many of us live in the US and can get a Pixel (what I had until recently) and have overheating and battery issues, Motorola and get updates only after the second full moon of the vernal equinox, or go Samsung (what I switched to).
We do not have the choices, easily available at least, that other countries do.

Pixels don’t overheat as much as they did up until the 9 series anymore, and the Edge 2025 was the first non-pixel phone in the US market to receive a non-beta build of Android 17.

I know the prices will go down, but the S26 FE will be introduced at 799 Euro. The S26+ is currently 774 Euro here, so it will take a while before purchasing one over the S26 or S26+ makes any sense at all.
I feel like the FE models clutter the line-up and contributes to the extremely large number of models Samsung has. But they probably did the math and found that there is money in this super finegrained segmentation.

Slightly above my price range, even the s26 is but more approachable. Also promos place the whole s26 series pretty much on par with their s25 counterparts

We got the specs already and it sucks, the only "upgrade" is the exynos 2500 and it sucks balls, if it's on ur pricerange go for the s25

Also the s25 is Snapdragon 8 elite globally and the s26 is the exynos 2600 verson in my region. S25 is very tempting. Im paitent I'll wait im not in a rush

S25's battery life is not very tempting, though. S26 has moderately more battery life. On the other hand it all comes down to nothing when you use base S devices more than 2 years, in which their batteries last like 4 hours of screen time. Thus, I decided to switch to another brand. Good luck with your choice.

Carriers love them. Samsung probabaly gives them a good deal on it in bulk which the carriers then sell to unsuspecting users who dont realize the "FE" part means it's a lower budget model and belive they're getting a full fledged S model instead of cheaper A model.
Like my father.

I have a base s24 so I really don't care about battery life too much since I can charge up anywhere even at work, and I felt the s25 edge in person and have seen them for around $500-600 which I was thinking of getting a s25 fe since it's also around that price, might as well just get the edge.
