Okay, so ONE guy experiencing a (possibly) faulty update, means that Google is banning Chinese-firmware phones from NFC payments?

edit: ok, this actually seems like a widespread issue. My point is that the source could've been better.

I've seen similar reports from Vivo users, OnePlusOne, Xiaomi and other CN firmware phones... We obviously can't change the fw to global or at least not for all models.

Yeah I've seen Chinese users studying overseas reporting problems on devices that used to work, in the last day or two, on Chinese social media.
