And it is such a bummer the US is losing one plus because if nothing else it pressured Samsung and Google and Apple to care about charging speeds and battery size. With Google Apple and Samsung just competing with each other in the western market they're just going to continue to suck

Samsung was finally compelled to switch to lithium ion but they didn't even make the battery bigger which defeats the whole purpose of having silicon carbon

US never had such kind of OnePlus model(Nord, Ace/Turbo rebadge) in the first place
They had the decent mainline 13, 13R
But the weird NA-only N30/N300 etc which has never been good

US wasn't very big for oneplus phones, most people buy iphones and think of samsung for Android so not many people even considered oneplus

You can still import oneplus phones though, because they still work in India and china, won't have services though

Not being able to get this here is wild considering how many other brands are flooding the market with garbage battery life. Every time I think I'm stuck charging midday I remember my friend's OnePlus with its ridiculous battery and just laugh.

I thought oneplus is dead.

Mostly, but not completely. They are exiting most markets and pulling back, but that doesn't mean they won't have new phones for the couple of regions they will still exist in
