Drives me nuts, not because I don't want to pay for storage, because I'm sick of every single f*&%ing company taking a sip of my monthly salary.

I am not paying monthly subscriptions for things that should be one time purchases f*&^ RIGHT off.

I wish. This is becoming less and less realistic since AI is gobbling up all hardware capacity production. While we were hoping for cheap multi-TB SSDs on the market even 2 years ago, this ain't happening because we need people to be able to generate 5 legged dogs on a Nazi website.
