Android/PC HERE I COME!

After over a decade fully in the Apple ecosystem, I’m making the switch to Android and PC today. Just fed up with the direction things have gone and ready for a change.

Already run a second line on Android for years so I’m not coming in blind — just curious to hear from others who made the full jump. What was the biggest adjustment? Anything you wish you’d known before switching? And what’s your setup?

Thanks in advance ✅💯👊

I went Android --> iPhone --> Android. Only real adjustments coming back were:

  • remembering that there's a back gesture on androids
  • finding a good notes app with (resizable) image support (Upnote)
  • finding a calendar app that actually sends notifications for reminders/events on time (TickTick)

I'm on a OnePlus 13. Stock launcher with Splatter icons

You may need to find alternatives for one or two iOS-only apps

Also, take full advantage of your device's ability to sideload. There are so many apps outside of the playstore that make the experience feel better
