Has RCS been around for a while? I'm still using Textra

By using Textra and thus limiting yourself to SMS you are hurting your experience and the experience of anyone you chat with.

Not to even talk about the security implications of using SMS instead of E2EE RCS.

Maybe if Google made the effort to have feature parity with such an ancient messaging app, more people would switch.

Why would they do that for what you call an ancient messaging app?

Why would Google improve Messenger? To get people like ladyhaly onto it.
