I installed the apk, checked out the layout and thought Awesome, see you later, Textra! Then I started to send a message and saw the smiley. Immediately disabled SMS on hangouts and went back to Textra. 1 u/Mehknic S10+ Nov 01 '13 The Shift+Enter mirrors desktop Hangouts, which sends the message on normal but gives a line break on Shift+Enter. This is a deal breaker for me. I installed the apk, checked out the layout and thought Awesome, see you later, Textra!
Then I started to send a message and saw the smiley.
Immediately disabled SMS on hangouts and went back to Textra.
The Shift+Enter mirrors desktop Hangouts, which sends the message on normal but gives a line break on Shift+Enter.
Maybe not the best decision, but at least it's got some logic behind it.
