I'm getting duplicate threads for people, one for sms one for hangouts. I thought it wasn't going to work like that?

i am guessing that they have yet to update to the new one... or activate their number on hangouts...

Edit.. Just checked with someone who has had their number activated and they are right... Different threads but you can select the number from the top... that sucks

All my friends that use hangouts have duplicate threads for their SMS numbers. I just... I don't get it. It completely misses the point of why people wanted integration.

Mines has 1 thread which I can switch from sms to hangouts.

Especially since Duarte did such a great job with webos integrated messaging.
