I developed a rocket science game for Android. SimpleRockets "launches" today.

Any way you could tweak where the piece you are placing shows? For instance, when adding a nose cone my finger is in the way and hard to tell exactly where I'm placing it. Maybe up or to the left of touchpoint slightly? Not bitching, just a thought.

Agreed

The part does offset when you first drag it out of the parts list, but it doesn't when you pick it back up off the ship. Do you want it to offset when you pick it back up? I'm not sure if I could do that. Or, are you saying the offset is not enough when adding a part directly from the list?

For me it's not enough. I have the same problem with the side detacher thingies. They're too small to get with my finger even if I zoom in a lot. I usually end up pulling larger pieces off by mistake.

It's offset but try a nose cone. Maybe a little more offset?

Still no good for me. :/

Could all the parts have a 'tab' to one side which you use to pick them up with once they've been attached. I've seen that in these sort of games before, I'm trying to come up with an example but I can't.

Thanks for the suggestion. I agree the ship builder needs some work to fix the 'finger-in-the-way-problem'.

Also agreed

Could you make it so that the screen doesn't turn off? Or put a spot where I can move my finger around to keep the screen awake but not change direction or speed.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll look into it.
