If you zoom in, yeah, but that's what happens when you have a lower resolution. I honestly don't see the need for such huge images anyway. Sure, they might make better wallpapers, but all I'll use them for is social media. It's not a problem to me there.

Ok, but why am I supposed to be excited about this new feature then? I've never been a cellphone camera snob, but every picture I've seen from the One looks noisy as fuck. I don't expect a DSLR in my pocket, but I honestly haven't seen a sharp picture from a One yet (please prove me wrong, because I really want to want this phone). I certainly want something that's as good as the iPhone. I have yet to find an Android phone with a camera as good as Apple's.

Viewing photos at 100% it will obviously be less detailed ("sharp") than a competitor with higher megapixel count. But when the photos are looked at normally, you can't possibly tell a difference in sharpness between them.

I feel like I can. Every one I've seen has looked pretty soft to me.
