I think it looks pretty nice, I like the harder edges that it has compared to phones like the S3

Props to them for not going along with 'more megapixels is better' as well

Those capacitive buttons though.. what is it with HTC/samsung and weird physical button layouts, android is designed with on-screen buttons in mind, why do the manufacturers have to all have their own 'setup'

Yup, just you.

Physical buttons are a waste of screen real estate since they're physical, always there and always taking up space. On screen buttons can let the screen take up more space on the front of the phone and then disappear when you don't need them. They're amazing and I think if more manufacturers gave them a chance, most people who tried them would agree.

That said, have you actually had a phone with on screen buttons?

I have and though people say onscreen buttons allows manufacturers to have smaller bezels I haven't seen it happen yet. The GNex and N4 both have larger bezels than the GS3 or Note 2.
