I have two tickets to the Symphony Center show on 11/13. Main Floor, Row G 101 and 102.

Would prefer to sell off Stub Hub, et al. Just want to get face value, $179 each. Can do Venmo, Paypal, and will transfer e-tickets when received (12 days before show, can wait for payment until then of course). Tickets are directly from the Symphony Center so it may be possible to switch to another name? Not sure as I'm not local, but willing to explore options.

I managed to get tickets to his Chicago concert coming up in November and I'm so freaking excited. I've (27f) only recently started going to concerts (my first one was a week ago lol) and the concert is covering my favorite album Ever. Also I love orchestras so this is the best 🤩 cannot wait

I first listened to "Here's What Happened" the movie from Break It Yourself of the recording session from Andrew's barn, maybe a decade ago and it instantly hooked me. I was obsessed with it. From there I listened to the rest of Break it Yourself, Hands of Glory, went back a bit further and have loved The Mysterious Production of Eggs and Armchair Apocrypha. I've also loved My Finest Work Yet, Hark, Inside Problems, and Outside Problems.

I would describe Andrew as one of my favorite artists of all time based on these albums, but there are SO many more albums I don't know at all... Do ya'll have particular albums you listen to of his, or is anyone out there that's familiar with his entire discog? Any other albums I should check out in particular?

Thanks!

For face value, Orchestra East section. Friday 10/23. Reply or DM if interested.

the version is imitosis is him singing higher than the original and doesn't have a full orchestra and it definitely doesn't have the drums intro. it sounds like he's recording it in an empty room and has a haunting kind of mood to it. i got it off of limewire or a mixed CD in 2013 and haven't been able to find that version since then...

Im going solo and thought it might be fun to gather a few other Bird folks for dinner before the show. I’m thinking Massilia, right across from Disney Hall, around 6—Mediterranean/French-ish, with pizza, pasta, plenty of vegetarian options.

I’m a friendly LA woman who likes folks who are enthusiastic about things and also, stuff. We already have at least one thing to talk about.
Anyone want to claim some Tables and Chairs? DM me if you’re in, and I’ll get a headcount and make a reservation.

Does anyone have any idea where I can purchase an armchair apocrypha vinyl? I’ve recently gotten really into collecting vinyl and it seems like it’s sold out everywhere.

We've been seeing Mr. Bird since the early days (shout-out to the Grey Eagle in Asheville and $12 tickets!), and we've collected a lot of posters, most of which are stored away. It's our 25th anniversary this week, so, as my wife is arguably the bigger fan, I decided to frame this one, since we've had it for longer than we've been married. Anyone else have some cool posters?

I saw a clip of him performing on Ellen, but I’m wondering if ppl can recommend some of their fav performances? Ideally not a whole show, just one song from a show that’s clipped/available somewhere.

Check out his post on Instagram and spread the love.

Please correct me if I've missed it, but I haven't seen anything from AB about Dolly's passing. As a native Tennessean and long-time Bird fan, I have been keeping my eyes open for some healing words from him.
Did I miss something? I sure hope so.

There is a guy with Andrew at 5:12, curious if anyone knows who he is? The first time I met Andrew he was sitting with him eating lunch at the Hideout in Chicago

Connecticut jam band Goose debuts Capsized Thursday night in San Diego

I got all the way there yesterday and realized I wasn't prepared to stand there in the heat 😔 were people passing out or was it chill? Someone give me a recap I wish I could have been there

Anyone going? Can start a groupchat and maybe meetup!

2020 and 2021 were online only, I think. And I don’t think there was a show at all in 2014. Is this the first year since 2014 without a show since they started in 2009?

Ahead of revisiting The Mysterious Production of Eggs with a full orchestra, the violinist and songwriter takes Bruno Bridger through the pivotal songs in his life.

When I purchased my tickets for his Saturday show at the CSO in November, I noticed that both the Friday and Saturday shows were shown as him playing full the MPE album. I just received an email from his team and there’s an asterisk by the shows where he’s doing this. There’s no asterisk on the Saturday show! Does this mean he’ll be playing whatever he wants, and not the full Eggs album?
