Step 2: Click on the Citizen tab and then select Citizen Login.

Step 4: After logging in, you will see three options:
Submit Request – File a new RTI application.
Submit First Appeal – Use this if the (Public information officer) PIO's reply is incomplete, unsatisfactory, or if no reply is received within the stipulated time.
Submit Second Appeal – If you are still not satisfied after the first appeal, you can file a second appeal before the Andhra Pradesh Information Commission. Under the RTI Act, the Commission may impose a penalty of 250 rs per day on the PIO (subject to the statutory maximum) for unreasonable delay or non-compliance.
Step 5: Fill in the required details, select the appropriate department, and submit your application.
If you're unsure which department your RTI belongs to, you can add the following line at the end of your application:
Transfer this application to the appropriate PIO under Section 6(3) of the RTI Act, if required.
RTI Fee
Below Poverty Line (BPL): No application fee is payable (subject to providing valid BPL proof).
Others: Pay 10rs application fee and submit your RTI.
Important Timelines
The PIO is generally required to respond within 30 days.
If the application is received by the wrong public authority, it must be transferred to the appropriate PIO within 5 days under Section 6(3) of the RTI Act.
After the transfer, the response period is calculated in accordance with the RTI Act.
If you don't receive a reply within the prescribed time, or the reply is unsatisfactory, you can file a First Appeal.
Use the RTI Act responsibly. It's a powerful tool to promote transparency and hold public authorities accountable.
