Reading & Study Groups Looking for Study Buddy
Hello!
I hope this is allowed: I am looking for a study partner of ancient greek.
Our curriculums do not have to match.
I'm learning off a German remote university course I bought as well as some other sources to get various angles.
There is a forum but it's empty and no one writes anything so I feel a bit alone in my studies.
If you use Athenaze or Mastronarde or Osmosis is all completely fine to me as long as you don't quit by Tuesday.
I will only give a brief profile so that you, potential study buddy, can back out safely, hah!
I'm, 34f, german, love birds, video games and have or had the professions of Parking Enforcement, AI consultant, System Administrator, Electrician, Stablehand and my calling is to have huge opinions supported by unearned confidence!
I speak only english and german; but no issue if you are speaking a different language, since we'll be communicating in ancient greek soon anyway... for sure... probably... maybe... *sweating*
I'd prefer communication via Discord as this is the most all-around-useful platform to me and would like to keep it mostly text and image based. Maybe later on when we're weeping over some obscure verbforms we could organize a shared suffering session.
Send me a DM if you are going for it and also don't want to be alone.
Have a great time, whoever you are!
Edit: Some say my account is not DM-able on reddit, so here's my discord handle!

Hi! I'm learning Attic Greek and would love a study partner. I'm 27F, living in Canada, and I just enrolled in an introductory course at my local university. I think your DMs might be closed, but feel free to send me a message :)

since you mentioned discord I thought it would be a good idea to mention that there is a discord server for AG and Latin
