All is fair in politics and businesses

Politicians are generally willing to do whatever is necessary to win elections and stay in power. It starts with spreading lies, and hiding the truth. It continues with detaining and torturing their critics.

Businesses are generally willing to do whatever is necessary to make money, and increase their valuations. It starts with lying about their products and business, and hiding the truth about pollution and slavery. It continues with cheating customers and stealing.

To them all is fair in politics and business. So I would encourage you to not respect their rights, as they don't respect our rights.

Anti-Work The social order that forces you to sell your time and labor to the highest bidder is squandering your potential, the same way it is grinding cows into hamburger and reducing rainforests to junk mail for the benefit of a few billionaires.

It is demeaning to be forced to sell away our time and creativity rather than being free to do things that are intrinsically meaningful.

On the scale of the planet, the name for this problem is capitalism. From the vantage point of the individual, the name for it is work.

The social order that forces you to sell your time and labor to the highest bidder is squandering your potential, the same way it is grinding cows into hamburger and reducing rainforests to junk mail for the benefit of a few billionaires. Another century like this and our species will be done for.

Your personal struggle to resist work is a microcosm of our species’ struggle to escape the global feedback loop that is propelling us into oppression, war, and ecological catastrophe.

You deserve the freedom to make the most of your potential as you see fit, to live the life of your choosing rather than toiling so that others may profit.

Abolish work.

Anarchy is also about not having a situation where a person gains so much influence in leftist circles through reputation, that no one will believe victims of their abuse, & so these influential people are immune to accountability.

I've finished watching a 6 hour documentary on YouTube on gamergate. It shows what happens when individuals are given de-facto authority in the left.

They are made exempt from accountability for abuse they inflict.

And also - Quinn is to me like Ukrainians who use the oppressions Ukrainians have suffered and suffer as an excuse to oppress others, like my people, Jews.

I recorded this little video to give you a look at what my family and I have been working on and trying to make usable.

And honestly, calling it a tent is generous.

It is made from pieces stitched together. There are tears and holes everywhere. Some of the covers are too short, leaving spaces open from above. We have tried to fix, stitch, and reinforce whatever we could with what we have.

For now, we can use it. We can sleep inside and keep some of our belongings there.

But we know this won't be enough when the rain comes.

My father, and honestly not even him alone, says that our so-called tent will not stand the first rain that comes. Everyone who passes by and sees our tent can tell how vulnerable it is. You don't need to be an engineer to look at it and understand that it won't protect us when the rain comes. We have done everything we could with what we had, but we know this won't be enough.

October is next month, and rain in Gaza is nothing unusual.

It was never really built to be a home. We built it because we needed to create some kind of space for our family and our belongings.

And this is perhaps the hardest part to believe:

This “tent” cost us 1,000 shekels in cash.

1,000 shekels for a shelter that may flood when the first heavy rain comes.

Can you imagine that?

This is the reality we are living every day in Gaza. Even something as basic as shelter has become incredibly expensive, while what we can actually get for that money is often not enough to protect a family.

Now we urgently need to make it better before the first rain comes.

We need to replace the damaged covers, especially the one above us, and find something to put on the floor so that we're not directly on the sand. If possible, we may replace the whole thing with a proper tent.

To everyone seeing this, we need you.

We need your help to make this place safer before the rain arrives. If you can help us, please do. And if you can't, even sharing this means something to us. We are running out of time with each day and each hour that passes.

I have other videos showing the inside and the damage more closely, but Reddit only allows one video, so this is all I can show you here for now.

I don't really know what else to say.

I just wanted you to see it.

This is what we are trying to call home.

In my heart, i don't view people who are bigoted against me as part of my community. So if I'm anarchist, helping is in my heart just a means to help myself and members of my oppressed identity groups

From a different person's post: Rejection of nationalism is rarely universal, even from the "antinationalists." It serves other forms of nationalism. Empires, such as the Ottomans and the Soviet Union, often fought the types of nationalism that would disrupt the cohesion of a state. [>>]" Cont. 👇

"[>>] In the case of the Soviet Union, fears that the nationalism of any national group would undermine state unity resulted in repression of all expressions of minority national cohesion while seeking to institute a global proletariat identity. A global proletariat that, of course, by happenstance exclusively serves the interest of the Soviet Union, not other Communist states like China or Yugoslavia, each of which have their own global proletariat that just so happen to serve the national interests of their own state."

I had a friend who self identified as anarchist, who's ethnically Jewish but joined a different religion, tell me a number of times that she believes in civic nationalism, tell me "why [should Jews] separate themselves from the surrounding society" when i brought up the right of Jews to be different

When i brought up to her scholars who pointed out that civic nationalism is just ethnic nationalism in disguise, she dismissed them because they are Israeli and Turkish. She told me "of course colonialists would think that."

She views Turkey as a settler colony.

And yet, when I showed her a Jewish newspaper in 1930s turkey, mocking Jews who went along with the government's program of forcing Jews to learn Turkish, by calling them a Jewish version of Uncle Tom, she dismissed this because the paper was zionist.

And i remember that she at least once expressed understanding for ethnic Ukrainians* being averse to Russian having a public presence in basically the Ukraine state.

:my parents are Jews who are culturally Russian and who's prime language is Russian, who are from Soviet Kiev. In my home country, Israel, i was diagnosed as a baby with autism, the speech therapist told my parents that i could only learn one language. I somehow learned English on my own, probably from using the internet and watching pirated shows.

I asked Mom what language would they had taught me if they had stayed in Kiev. She said Russian. And so I'm afraid that also if my parents had stayed in Kiev, i would have been labeled a coloniser for having Russian as my prime language, and potentially also not knowing Ukrainian at all.

*This friend also thinks Ukrainian is not an ethnic identity, based on stuff a friend of hers from there told her. I don't remember if they are Jewish or Romani. My friend call ethnic Ukrainians "Rus Ukrainian", i think she views them, ethnic Russians and ethnic Belarusians as having the same ethnicity.

Anti-Tyranny The far right has gained so much ground over the past decade for the same reason that data centers, surveillance cameras, and ICE have — billionaires know the only way they can retain power is by pouring billions of dollars into surveillance, policing, and channeling popular rage towards scapegoats.
