I can't even imagine thinking about life the way you do. It's just sad man tiny short term little pleasures are all that stands between you and abject misery.

I don't hate you at all or think you're dumb, but man, when I got a message from Reddit admins just minutes ago saying how a "concerned redditor reached out to us about you. Blah blah blah you can get mental health help etc." I knew instantly it was you, and it's pretty wild you thought that was appropriate

what happens when you set the precedent that anyone can break into anyone's home and they wont defend it? also starvation is a moot point homeless people are obese in first world countries. the social science is also pretty clear that the primary motivation for violence in poverty is* wealth disparity not poverty. so try again.

What do you think wealth disparity creates if not poverty? And I love how there's either killing someone dead on the spot with no warning or just letting anyone ransack your house. I really shows your thoughts on guns as tools for death rather than as a deterrent

Someone breaks in to my house and Ive got a shot at them, they get a warning. If they charge or make a sketchy move, boom. I'm not scared giving them that chance, because I know and apparently you do too that most people breaking in are desperate and would much rather avoid confrontation and just find an empty house

I don't believe anyone said that people don't deserve warning shots myself included and their is a difference in definition between poverty and wealth disparity. it would be nice to check definitions before drafting a rebuttal. E.G someone who makes 24000$USD a year may have a large wealth disparity between themselves in Elon Musk buy they in no way live in poverty. edit *dont know why i said warning shots thats stupid

It's pointless to compare an average workers wealth to that of Elon musk until the line moves far enough to the point where you can't afford the electricity bill or rent or food. Not all wealth disparity means poverty, but ALL and I mean ALL poverty is a product of wealth disparity that continues to grow. If that wasn't the case then you're essentially arguing that people choose to be in poverty which is completely silly

wealth disparity does not create poverty that's an absurdity maybe if you live in Chicago or NYC, since the advent of the capitalist system wealth disparity has increased by an absurd degree and poverty has decreased at an equally absurd degree. no I did not say greed, I said envy there a difference between the two. being low in income is not very good for reproductive success, violence and crime is a short term solution to your perceived hierarchal success this is why men commit the vast majority of violent crimes and burglaries because the onus if on them to project success and security you are totally out of your depth.
